James has developed a wide-ranging network of senior supply chain, procurement and operations executives across both the UK and international market places. This leaves him well placed to manage appointments from the Chief Supply Chain Officer and COO level down to other strategic leadership roles.
James has supported several client restructures and supply chain executive leadership team builds. He takes an active interest in driving a D&I agenda for clients, especially in supply chain and procurement, where he has participated in numerous panel discussions on the subject. James also collaborates with several academics in the field to ensure that BIE remain at the forefront of innovative thinking in the discipline.
James has recruited talent across all vertical markets however his primary expertise is in pharmaceutical, FMCG (food, consumer electronics and consumer healthcare) and the medical devices sectors. Having started an early career in medicine, these sectors represent areas where James has a particular interest and affinity.
When not at work James enjoys his two wheeled adventures, particularly cyclocross.
