Simon is responsible for leading BIE’s CFO & Financial Leadership team and selling the BIE proposition to companies who are going through change.

As a senior member of BIE’s executive leadership team and an equity partner since 2013, Simon plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering BIE’s full-service proposition to organisations undergoing transformation. With more than 25 years’ experience, his leadership spans all core practice areas, with a particular emphasis on enabling performance improvement across the entire C-suite.

Simon leads BIE’s CFO & Financial Leadership team, while also championing cross-functional solutions that support clients through periods of strategic change, growth, and operational maturity. His remit includes FTSE-listed companies, large privately owned and PE-backed organisations, as well as SMEs and scale-ups seeking to evolve their enabling functions.

Operating across the UK, Europe, the Caribbean, USA, Middle East, and Asia, Simon partners with Chairman and the board, executive teams, and transformation leaders to deliver high-impact talent solutions for roles and programmes such as:

Executive Finance Leadership: CFO, Group FD, Group FC, Director FP&A, Buy and Build, Carve out scenarios and simplification
Transformation & Programme Delivery: PMO, Programme/Project Managers, Process Improvement Specialists, Director MI/BI and Director Shared Services
ERP & Systems Implementation: Finance systems experts across evaluation, design, deployment, and optimisation

Outside of work, Simon is passionate about outdoor cooking, known for his multi-course BBQ feasts. He’s also a dedicated rugby coach, taxi driver for his family, and he enjoys active ski holidays, always favouring the slopes over the après.
