The roles he supports on include; CFO’s, Finance Directors, Group Finance Controllers, Divisional Finance Directors, plus personnel across Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, M&A and Audit.
Matt began his recruitment career in Australia in 2016. Before joining BIE, he was an Executive Consultant at U.K-based consultancy, Goodman Masson, where he placed interim finance professionals into both FTSE listed and Private Equity backed businesses. He has worked with the likes of Informa Plc, BBC, Omnicom, WPP and Global Switch. During this time, he built an extensive network of UK-wide clients and candidates, something he continues to develop at BIE.
Being born and raised in Sheffield, he spent much of his twenties in Australia and London, before moving back to the north of England in 2022 to be closer to friends and family. When not at work Matt enjoys being out in the peak district, which is fortunately on his doorstep, playing sports competitively – football, cricket, tennis, boxing, golf (badly), and spending time with his wife and young daughter. What he doesn’t enjoy doing is the daily tidy of children’s toys, dolls and other bits!
