Abbie joined BIE as a Junior Finance and Compliance Administrator, taking on her first full-time role after completing a Professional Business Diploma at Oxford Media and Business School. Her studies included business, digital marketing, event management, IT and digital literacy, as well as a personal development programme.
Before beginning her studies, Abbie spent time travelling, including completing ski instructor qualifications in France and volunteering in India, where she taught children in local communities for five weeks.
In her role, Abbie provides support across BIE’s finance and compliance functions, helping to ensure the smooth running of a range of administrative processes and activities.
Outside of work, Abbie enjoys helping her parents on the family farm and spending time outdoors, whether that’s walking her dogs in the countryside or going for a run. She is also a keen hockey and cricket player and enjoys catching up with friends at the local pub.
