Lucy plays a key role in month end, supporting Sharon to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

As an integral part of the finance team, Lucy assists with all other financial matters, from credit control and the interim payment run, to HMRC and internal reporting. She is also the first point of call for our interims, onboarding on the finance side as well as providing guidance and information where needed. Internally she supports the BIE team across an extensive range of queries.

After graduating from the University of Sussex with a Bachelor of Media and Cultural Studies, Lucy worked as an Office Administrator before spending two years travelling around South East Asia and working in Australia.

Upon returning she began her first finance role as an Accounts Assistant before joining BIE in May 2017. She is AAT Level 2 qualified and currently studying towards her ACCA.
