We are now all thrust into lockdown three and there is a familiar and universal cry of ‘not again’.

Line managers, leaders and our people functions are all feeling a level of ‘Groundhog Day’. The initial Lockdowns were unfamiliar territory and while senior leaders across the UK rolled out their Business Continuity Playbooks, there was no principle or rule that covered all eventualities of a pandemic.

Further challenges and difficulties continue to lie ahead, not least as its reasonable to expect, we are all suffering a level of fatigue.

With this in mind, we spoke to four senior HR leaders to gather practical advice and tips on how to continue engaging and supporting employees remotely. With a focus on how to help prevent and recognise the signs of burn out within individuals and teams. Here’s what they told us.
